Kamloops and the Okanagan are closely connected. People move between them for work, school at Thompson Rivers University, family and retirement. All Day Delivery x True North Movers is based in Kelowna, and we handle moves and deliveries between the Okanagan and Kamloops with our own trucks and crew.
From Kelowna, the usual route runs north on Highway 97 through Vernon and Falkland to the Trans-Canada at Monte Creek, then west into Kamloops. It’s a regional move, not a cross-town one, so planning matters. We watch road conditions in winter, when the Monte Hills and Highway 97 can be snowy, and we time the trip so your belongings arrive when you need them.
Kamloops is built on hills and river benches, and access varies a lot. There are hillside homes in Sahali, Aberdeen, Juniper Ridge and Batchelor Heights, established streets in North Kamloops, Brocklehurst, Westsyde and Valleyview, and rural properties out toward Dallas, Barnhartvale and Rayleigh. Steep driveways, split-levels and long carries are common. Tell us about both homes when you ask for a quote, and we’ll bring the right crew and truck.
Our All Day Delivery service brings new fridges, ranges, washers, dryers and dishwashers to Kamloops homes, from local stores or wherever you bought them. Delivery from the Okanagan to Kamloops is $600. That rate includes delivery of the first 2 pieces, uncrating, placement and taking the packaging away. Each additional piece is $25.00, laundry stackers count as 2 pieces, and haul-away of your old unit is $30.00. We always take the old unit away, so it doesn’t end up in your garage.
We also deliver furniture and mattresses in Kamloops. Call us with what you bought and where it’s going, and we’ll give you a price before we book.
Every move between the Okanagan and Kamloops is quoted after we look at what you’re moving and the access at both homes.
